It’s a multi-functional, all-in-one tool that allows you to clone DVDs, extract their contents to a local folder, convert them to video files, or even burn new ones. Even though it’s a multi-functional utility meant to accomplish more than one primary task, 1Step DVD Copy is not complicated or difficult to use. On the contrary, it comes with a very simple, neat and straightforward interface that can be used with ease even by complete beginners. It cannot be resized or customized, but it’s a handy and elegant interface that will pose no problems to anyone.
Its older versions were able to convert ripped DVDs only to two formats: MP4 and AVI. The newer releases can also convert them to other formats, like MKV or the audio MP3, but also to pre-configured MP4 files suitable for being played on portable devices like iPad, iPod, and iPhone. Anyway, advanced parameters for these files, like their bit rate or sample rate, still cannot be individually configured.
This neat tool also comes with great processing speed, being a time-saving solution for DVD backup tasks. In conclusion, it’s a really nice tool that works great and comes with a reasonable price.
